Voices of Worship Choir (VOW)

VOW at  'Power of Worship' Event

VOW was invited along with another partnering ministry (Never Ashamed) to lead the Good Friday service at Kings College Buddo. A team of about 25 VOW members , which included the worship and the ballet team, were led by the patron Ian Wardle.

There was a visiting preacher, Pr Kyazze who made a very touching and life changing sermon. With the history of once being a science scholar and a teacher at sometime, his sermon was full of scientific terms and he always related to real life experiences. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Halfway through the two hour session of praise, worship and fellowship, Pr Kyazze made an altar call and over 70 students gave their  lives to Christ. It was a significant day since we were remembering the suffering that our Lord went through that night, and was nailed to the cross to save us.

The chaplain of the school, Rev. Kasirye appreciated VOW for honouring his invitation and communicated that VOW has an open door for ministry  in the school whenever possible.

After the service/session, the team spent an hour praying with and encouraging individual students

We thank God for the opportunity He has given us to serve Him. We also thank God for Ian and the entire team for working hard to make this a success.
